Tanzania Beach Lifeguards is thinking about opening a swim shop to help support the long-term future of our program. Right now, there’s a shortage of high quality swim gear and equipment in Tanzania. Many swimmers and lifeguards don’t have easy access to the basics they need. By opening a swim shop, we would be able to provide reliable gear while also creating a steady source of funding for our work. It connects directly to our mission: having the right equipment helps people

It’s December 31st, the end of 2025. I turned 18 yesterday, and as another year closes, it feels like the right moment to reflect on a project I started when I was 15. Over the past three years, we’ve made enormous progress. What began as an idea has grown into a real, professionally run operation that is gaining recognition within the community. I have been in contact with William daily and he has been recovering slowly. He's making progress but there have been some setbacks: there was a complication that resulted in excess bleeding, so unfortunately he is still awaiting surgery, which has been pushed back to January. We can't wait to have William back, but most of all we want him to heal as quickly as possible.
