We have some amazing stats from the last year! In 2025, our lifeguards at Coco Beach performed 148 active rescues — 112 children and 36 adults pulled from the water — with only 2 recorded drownings at the beach all year. We reunited 36 children with their families, treated 9 beach injuries, and ran weekly swim-for-survival clinics for over 250 children with disabilities. Really proud moment for Tanzania Beach Lifeguards — Millard Ayo from Ayo TV came down to Coco Beach and covered what we're doing. He interviewed our lifeguards and filmed the beach, and seeing the program through his lens was something special. Two years in, and we're making the news.
