What I was most worried about when starting this project was getting government approval for it. By pure luck, while I was swimming with a big team in Tanzania, I met Coach Amina Mfaume, who is a coach and the mother of one of my friends on the Tanzanian National Swim Team. Coach Amina also had the idea to put lifeguards on the beaches, and knew how to get government approval for it, but didn't yet have any funding to get started. So, we agreed to partner up with me raising the money and both of us working on the lifeguarding part with her on the ground.
