We have some amazing stats from the last year! In 2025, our lifeguards at Coco Beach performed 148 active rescues — 112 children and 36 adults pulled from the water — with only 2 recorded drownings at the beach all year. We reunited 36 children with their families, treated 9 beach injuries, and ran weekly swim-for-survival clinics for over 250 children with disabilities. Since founding in 2023, Tanzania Beach Lifeguards has now performed over 750 total rescues, certified 50 lifeguards, and raised over $60,000 — and we're expanding in 2026.
