It’s December 31st, the end of 2025. I turned 18 yesterday, and as another year closes, it feels like the right moment to reflect on a project I started when I was 15. Over the past three years, we’ve made enormous progress. What began as an idea has grown into a real, professionally run operation that is gaining recognition within the community. December 2025
I have been in contact with William daily and he has been recovering slowly. He's making progress but there have been some setbacks: there was a complication that resulted in excess bleeding, so unfortunately he is still awaiting surgery, which has been pushed back to January. We can't wait to have William back, but most of all we want him to heal as quickly as possible.

November 2025
William Mwamboneke, one of our lifeguards, was seriously injured on the job and had to be taken to the hospital. The accident affected the same leg he had already been struggling with. I have been in touch with him and he is still in the middle of the recovery process, and I want to take a moment to recognize everything he’s done for us.
