Tanzania Beach Lifeguards had a very successful 2024! To summarize all of our achievements, we have raised over US$45,000, bought US$ 12,000 worth of equipment; dramatically advanced the training with the help of Mike, our South African Advisor; placed Lifeguards on the beaches almost every week since December 2023; Trained and certified 50 Lifeguards, 15 of whom still work for us. We hosted swim training clinics for local school children, and children with disabilities almost every week beginning in March.
